About this revision

Source-led report checked against Dubai Land Department on 20 October 2026. The client questions are Astra Terra guidance. The image is an AI-generated editorial concept, not a photograph of DLD services, the event or an available property.

What Dubai Land Department announced

Dubai Land Department said on 19 October that it was presenting accessibility-focused real-estate services at AccessAbilities Expo 2026, held from 19 to 21 October. DLD said its interactive experience uses touch, audio guidance and simplified instructions to improve access to information for people with visual and hearing impairments.

The notice describes service design and policy direction. It does not establish that a specific building, home, route or available property is accessible.

Four named routes through the service journey

DLD identifies Al Karani as personal assistance for procedures and support, Al Kaitoob as a remote property-management platform, Al Taresh as field-based service through mobile units, and Al Mersal as remote support through the contact centre.

Before relying on any service, ask which users and transactions it currently supports, how identity and authority are verified, what documents can be handled remotely, how accessibility needs are recorded, and which steps still require a separate provider or in-person action. The announcement does not answer those case-specific questions.

Keep the property test separate

Accessible administration and an accessible property are different decisions. For the home itself, evaluate the full route from arrival to the rooms and facilities that matter, then obtain qualified advice where dimensions, safety, emergency egress or adaptation feasibility are material.
